Washington Avenue is a major Houston thoroughfare linking downtown and the Houston Heights. This area features many homes and town houses with views of downtown, lots of new apartment communities, and tons of bars, restaurants, and entertainment. Residents in the area enjoy close proximity to Downtown, Buffalo Bayou, Memorial Park, and other parks and running trails. Living close to I-10, many have a quick commute to West Houston/Energy Corridor, or Katy. Once you get home, enjoy dinner at one of many restaurants on Washington Avenue, stop by a bar, or pop into a brewery for a local brew. If being active is more your style, there are tons of studios in the area in addition to outdoor parks.
